Is this a known cat pose or is mine just a (beautiful) weirdo?

First cat I’ve had that seems most comfortable with front legs totally stretched out and hanging down. Spent ages like this today. Does anyone else’s favourite this pose?

He’s a Birman. I have a female too but she’s not a dangler.

Left up to me I’d get the most unwanted cat from the rescue centre, but my dh is severely allergic to all cats except this breed, which we found out when my brother rescued one.

I thought I’d accepted a cat-less fate when I got married but now am able to as long as it’s a Birman. They’re expensive and impossibly pretty so fear of stealing is often on my mind, but also have amazing temperaments, - a bit more dog-like in nature than other cats I’ve had. 10/10 would recommend.

Samuel L Catson does this when he lies down on my legs, we call it "doing a leopard" I don't have a pic of him in leopard pose, but I have a few of his bad selfies

I have 3 Birmans! One does diving Birman pose and another does broken Birman pose. Examples of both attached. They’re adorable cats.

We have the yellow oval Ikea potato scrubber thingy. It has turned out to be very good for grooming cats.
