Should I get a kitten?

Fear I may have a captive audience but… shall I? Lost my elderly girl 18 months ago and said no more (always had cats for decades).

Friend of a friend has had four accidental kittens. Three of which are gingers and I’ve had every other colour but always fancied a ginger boy.

Head says no. Talk me into it…?

We got two older kittens (7 months) who had been overlooked at the shelter for months. They are absolutely devoted to each other. My boy (not ginger but an idiot) absolutely adores DDog too.

They don’t know the sex yet. My friend is having the one non ginger (tabby). I’m assuming the three gingers are more likely (but not 100%) boys. Have had white, black, tortie, tabby, black and white cats over the years. One was ginger and white, but always loved a big soppy ginger boy!

So the friend’s keeping them all until they’re weaned & then getting the mum spayed? Sounds like they’re luckier than a lot of accidental kittens are!

I’d go for a pair too, although I always preferred fostering adult cats.

Aww, is there anything much cuter than a bright ginger kitten?! If you go ahead, please post a pic :-)

Go for it OP. Hope your friend does get mum spayed. If money is tight, help is out there. (sorry, friend works in rescue and she lets me go meet some of the kittens she saves to get them used to humans!).
