Suspected flea bites?

Are these flea bites?

My two youngest children and I seem to be getting bitten from what I presume might be fleas and I am slowly going nuts.

Took the cat for a check up at the vets and to get a repeat of the annual month Credelio flea treatment. Apparently the vet couldn't see any fleas, nor have we seen the cat scratching.

But it is absolutely driving me nuts, with new bites on legs, thighs, groin, on the back of my right ear (?!) and in between my eyes on my nose (!)

My son has some on his legs and back, my eldest daughter had some on her legs. My youngest daughter and DH seem to be spared (lucky them!)

I'm allergic/sensitive to the Indorex spray as it makes my involuntary movement disorder symptoms worse (and this was caused by an off label antipsychotic that is very similar in its mechanism of action to flea treatment, I think 🤔). So I've been vacuuming and washing stuff like a mad woman, while getting ready to scream if I get bitten again.😫

I need to pretend they're not flea bites, buy some natural flea stuff to spray around the house, and it might be ok.🤣🙏

Any advice? (The photos show my legs with bites, sorry in advance! LOL)

Could they be midge/mosquito bites? Fleas seem to have a few nibbles whereas midges seem to bite more singly.

Not sure, but i think it's a weird random body parts with bites that is makimg me wonder if it's not fleas - they wouldn't normally bite along the inner thigh or on the face? Unless it is a bit of a myth and they bite all over...

Yes

Legs is most common for fleas. Vacuum twice daily. Flea bomb bedrooms and wash all bedding and soft furnishings. Just because your cat is clear doesn't mean they havent taken up residence in the carpets

The thing is, I really don't want to flea bomb 😫 as I'm really sensitive to chemicals, especially ones that affect the nervous system (which is what i presume flea spray does?)

I will continue to vacuum etc ij the hope it might make a difference then from there.🤔

Examine the dust from the vac bag or canister. You might see fleas.

There are some chemical free options- not sure on efficacy. One contraption my friend had that lured them into a liquid. Might be worth having a look online. Stock up on tea tree oil (avoid using near cat, can kill them), lavender oil
