Interested. Thanks but there's no need for why do your cats need exercise 😂

No, but my friend has one and his cats love it - videos of them on it are hilarious. They are bengals, not sure if that makes a difference, but they don’t go outdoors.

I have 2 bengals and they have both previously used a wheel. I don’t have one at the moment as the one I bought is too small.

one fast cat is the one my breeder recommended as it’s much bigger.

Is there a reason bengals are suited for this? My cats are not bengals.

I have one, out of my three cats only my sphynx runs on it. He only goes out in warm weather so has pent up energy. He runs like a demon on it daily, sometimes through the night. My Maine coons won't go near it!

In my friend’s case it’s because his cats are house cats - we have never had bengals so I do t know if they usually go out? Our cat (a moggy) has been out less while the weather has been so bad - I play with him more indoors if he’s stuck inside but really in case he’s bored rather than him needing to exercise.

Thanks ☺️

Bumping this thread to see if anyone else has experience of these exercise wheels for cats. When I retire next year I'll be moving to a flat and my cats will become indoor cats - as they get older they spend less time outdoors anyway. However, at the moment I have a long hallway which one of the cats races up and down every morning - the flat is much smaller, so I was thinking maybe an exercise wheel would suit her.

I've got a Ferris wheel on order from their UK distributor so no practical experience yet. It's currently en route from Malaysia so will arrive in a few weeks. We're in a house but just about to cat-proof the garden so I wanted to give them an option. If the resident cats don't fancy it then we also foster for a cat rescue so no doubt one or other of the foster cats will give it a go.

The Ferris wheels are expensive but much bigger than the other options, which is supposed to be better for the cats' spines. It makes sense and we did the same thing when we had hamsters.
