Bad breath

Penelope has always had halitosis, I did hope that getting rid of her teeth might help it. But it hasn’t. The vet said it’s just ‘cat breath’ It wouldn’t be an issue but she loves to get up close and personal and give me a full blast of it. Any tips for improving it?

I've found (with three different cats) that it's more digestion based. The Stray seems to need access to grass whereas the previous two needed hairball biscuits or paste.

Since The Stray cannot go outside at the moment we've bought her some grow-your-own from Pets at Home, within two days of munching her stinky breath went.

That’s an idea. Although I’ve done cat grass before and it’s been ignored!

They’re always sharing either their breath or their buttholes. My girl is firmly in the butthole category. 🥴🐈‍⬛

She’s an adorable little cat! I hope she’s recovering well.
I’ve grown the Pets at home grass for our boy when he couldn’t go outside and he was obsessed with it! He just wouldn’t leave it alone until it was demolished. I kept it up on a really high pile of towels on a tower in the bathroom under a skylight to grow and when it had grown long enough, offered it. The sight and smell of it growing was making him crazy. The grass in the garden doesn’t have the same effect.

She’s a different cat since having her teeth out. Much more in my face, Hence the issue!
