Supplements for cats?

Can I ask what food supplements - if any- you give your cat?

I give Plaque Off for teeth and have recently started a D-Mannose cat supplement (D-Mannose has helped me so much that I figured it might benefit a male cat given their urinary issues).

Now looking at Maxxipaws supplements and rose hip powder but a bit worried I might go too far! After all cats have tiny organs & presumably very easy to overload.

We’re having an absolute nightmare with our male cat and his blocked bladder. Had I known it was a thing I would have had them on cystease as a precaution.

I am sorry to hear that- the poor boy.

Tobias gets Cobalaplex (B12 supplement) now, as he has diarrhoea due to his thickened bowel lining. It's a vicious circle type thing - reduced B12 means even worse runs, which lowers their B12 levels and so on.

But otherwise nothing bar ensuring a proportion of their dry food is anti hairball. Considering his bowel and his FIV Tobias is in fantastic condition if a little chubby still, and Girlcat's only issue is she's just a fraction over weight. Both have incredible thick soft glossy coats, picture of health according to the vet.

But that doesn't mean to say it's not just luck on our part, and supplements do have their place. The one I hear of being recommended the most is salmon oil, brilliant for skin & fur.

They sound beautiful!
Am thinking about salmon oil for dog in any event. May add it to cat list! Thank you.
