Breeding cats - Katie Price

Katie Price's cat has had kittens. I'm not too familiar with cat breeding but thought we were overcrowded with unwanted cats.

Apparently the kittens were premature so she is feeding them through a syringe.

The cat keeps placing the babies inside Katie's bedding, I thought one was squashed to death!

One kitten died.

I'm just wondering why nothing is done to stop backyard breeders?

Also if they are premature do they need to see a vet?

I'm not too clued up on cats as I say but it just concerned me after watching these videos.

She is a shitshow where animals are concerned. She bought this cat in 2024 as a kitten and already it’s pregnant.
Decent people spay and neuter their cats before letting them out.

This is what I thought.

I think she has two cats and two dogs and now 4 kittens.
Is it safe for a cat to be pregnant so young if she only got her in 2024?

I thought she wasn't allowed to keep animals anymore but I must be mistaken.

I thought she was a notorious animal abuser?

Quite. I don't understand why the UK is so bad at protecting pets.

Well if the cat was born at the very start of 2024 then no, she should be OK. But they reach the ability to breed by about 6 months and that would be far too young, which is why most kittens are kept in until after spaying.

But as you say there are far too many backyard breeders out there when we are already over run with kittens every year. Some have the strange idea that we should let the cat have a chance at being a mother - anthropomorphism at it's worst. Also makes me wonder if they are going to the vet regularly, as the majority of vets would have advised her of the benefits of spaying & neutering.

We had a family like this near us. Always having new kittens but they had loads of Tom cats who were pushed out and essentially strayed anf caused problems all around us by fighting and spraying all over people's houses as they hadn't been neutered.

Appears she got the cat in September as a tiny kitten.

ChandrilanDiscoDroid · 04/08/2025 12:50

She doesn't have care of her own children, so I don't know why people would be surprised she's not a responsible pet owner.

PInkyStarfish · 04/08/2025 13:53

She no longer has anything to offer as a celebrity so her whole business plan is to get media attention via controversy.

Photos in bed snuggling with Harvey in bed that many deem inappropriate.

Pictures of Harvey stuffing his face when he is obese.

The repulsive photos of her posturing half naked to ‘show off’ the awful surgery and extreme weight loss.

And then the animals. She knows full well that her ownership and mistreatment of animals causes a huge outcry and she can make money from pictures.

She uses Harvey, her deformed body and face and also the poor creatures she has managed to get hold of to maximise publicity around her lifestyle.

PInkyStarfish · 05/08/2025 09:31

She’s now saying that the cat had the kittens early and that the kittens won’t latch on and feed so her and ‘JJ’ (the gormless boyfriend) are feeding them every two hours through out the day and night.

🙄

Yes I saw this. She's saying it's akin to being a mother. I just wonder, with them apparently being very premature shouldn't they see a vet?

That cat needed veterinary care, not Katie mauling the kittens so Mum didn't want to have them near her. Cats are incredibly clever creatures, she needed to be left alone for a few hours and then a vet brought in. It breaks me seeing the spaniel she's got, they're such loyal and loving dogs.

ktopfwcv · 07/08/2025 03:50

She's finally taken them to the vets and the vet said, "wow, they are very premature."

A lot of her pets end up broken (dead). They're replaced like broken items.

Cue the photos oh aren't we so caring and dedicated to the kittens.
No you're a couple of thick bastards that will use anything to turn a pound.
