Always hungry, or begging, but I don't know how much is normal? Cat is about 3kg, moggy not a big breed.

10 month cat - Free dry food, all he Can Eat. And a tin of wet food a day. He is slim and active.

My rescue was 2.6kg even though she was 7yrs. She was on a full pouch morning, and a full pouch evening, with access to dry biscuits.

Read the instructions on your kitten's food but a 3kg will be on adult portions but possibly spread across four meals.

What are you feeding atm?

They will still be growing at that point. One pouch in the morning, one in the late afternoon and then a bit of kibble for overnight.

Yeah they're 2.5-3kg probably still nearer 2.5. Two pouches a day and some biscuits. But still seems hungry...

is it fat? Why dont let it eat all the dry food it can? They usually regulate themselves?

How much is in each pouch?
My cat ( A year old now) Has 2 70/85g pouches in the morning
and then in the evening. She is a slim
cat with lots of energy ( Half bengal)
Im not sure if that's too much reading that others only give 2 pouches a day.
Sometimes she doesn't eat it.

If they are still hungry then try another handful of biscuits and see if that helps. Cats aren't fully adult until between 3-5 years so yours is still in the growing stage.

Edit - pp makes a valid point. Pouches used to be 100g then CoL happened and some manufacturers reduced their pouches to 85g, much to the disgust of many cats across the UK.
