Urination outside letterbox

Hi everyone,

Not sure if people have read my previous posts so background. We have 7 cats. All get on (5 of them 1 and under). Our last kitten we got from what we now know is a backyard breeder although they were gccf certified so have notified the board and RSPCA. Our last little kitten Klaus we got given far to early (said to be 12 weeks definitely more 6) who had to be hand fed- he had worms and fleas.

Anyway he's now 6 months old. The sweetest little lad but very attached to me likely because the hand feeding and being with us so young. He's brilliant with the kids and adores our other cats. However... He is urinating on the floors and on blankets left on floors when I'm not around. We have been cleaning frequently and luckily have lvt floors on all bottom floor so easily done. During his neutering he had sky high glucose in urine but all bloods came back normal so vet feels he may have anxiety. He does meow very loudly if he can't see me. I'm only out the house 2 days a week and he gets and seeks attention from our other cats and kids. Just not sure what to do- vet said next step would be antidepressants?
He is a ragdoll and we have begun letting him in the garden with us as vet felt that might help his mental health and he loves it and very much sticks to the grass and doesn't try climbing the fence luckily.

Oh he’s beautiful! Have you tried the usual feliway diffusers? My boy took a dislike to my twins when they were born and went through a stage of urinating on their beds etc - I had to spray everything with the stuff which puts them off weeing there

Anxitane might be worth a try, Royal Canin also do a food especially for stressed cats that might help.
I'd think about cat proofing the garden or building a large catio that he can have free access to, it also sounds like it may be separation anxiety, so leaving a jumper with your scent may help?

Hi yeh got feliways on in every other room. I think it's more desperation anxiety. He wails if he can't see one of us or another cat. He will only sleep on us or snuggled next to one of our other cats

Sadly unable to cat proof our garden without having trees cut down and fencing completely redone which just isn't feasible. Our cats are already on digestives care royal canine as a few have sensitive tummies.
