How do you feed cats separately?

Taken our boys to the vet this morning for their worm/flea treatment.

They are both 9 months old and from the same litter but a HUGE difference in size. (Vet suspects they may be different dads even though same litter - apparently very common?!). Our big boy is just shy of 5kg compared to his small brother at just over 3kg. The vet has suggested that we move the bigger one on to adult food and keep an eye on his eating as he may be prone to putting on weight. He actually is not that greedy and will graze on his food all day and isn’t crazy for treats etc.

My question is how do I feed one kitten adult food and the other kitten. I know it won’t be a massive problem if they each eat each others but I’m not sure how to do this when they both graze all day and have dry food out continuously (but only the recommended portion size). We only fed them dry food.

You could use microchip feeders. But, if you think the big one can self-regulate I'd switch both to adult food.
