This is new, but been going on for a few weeks now. Weight wise and health all fine.

He is 12-13.

An hour after breakfast some days he's shouting for more food. He's trying to tell me now it is teatime. It's not until 4.30 but he's been asking for over an hour. I've been trying ti get him to go to five o'clock but no chance.

Leave biscuits so he can graze if needed and monitor his weight. To stop the dog, get a microchip feeder.

He's not on senior due to my other cat being only six but I could keep it separate. She wouldn't eat his but he would eat hers. Milk I wasn't sure about. I gave it to my previous cat but had read it's not necessarily the best thing for them. If he's thirsty I'd be very surprised given there are always four full water bowls about the place.

I did give him a few more biscuits than normal and I'll have a chat with him tomorrow about what he'd like.

One of mine literally gorges on so many biscuits and then throws them back up. Delightful. Mine are Siamese and generally a pain though in every way! 🤣

I've had to change my cats biscuits to one they like less because of gorging/vomiting! Also orientals.
I also have some cooked chicken in the fridge and will often give my cats a chunk of chicken between meals which seems to keep them civil.

My two cats act like they are starved! I switched from Felix to Untamed and this seems to fill them up more. The quality and meat content is high so keeps them full (ish).

It's pricey though, they have one tin a day each and that costs £56 a month. They have the Untamed in the morning and Royal Canin dry food at night.

One cat was very overweight and she has lost loads of weight feeding this way. The vet said the dry food twice a day was putting the weight on her.

You can get a trial 12 cans for £8 at the moment. Well worth a try as my cats devour it!

Is the dry food you feed good quality? We buy a sack of purizon dry from zooplus. If you can't leave out then add some to the wet food.

I'm so confused. This morning I gave him a Felix and a Tiger as my other cat refused the Felix. I put some lucky licks on the top as needed to give the other cat some to persuade her to eat hers. I don't think he's miaowed for food until about 4.40 and that was when I came in as was later home with the dog. I've been in all afternoon until 3pm and no shouting. I'll see what happens tomorrow.
