Recovery suit for male neutered cat

(Im back again with my neutered boy)
My boy (18 months) just got neutered and hates the cone. Soft and hard, donut etc. Tried them all and he gets them all off. And he licks the area so I can't leave him with nothing.
I ordered a surgical recovery suit due to arrive tomorrow but will this actually work on a male? Cause the site is on his balls not his stomach like a female. So will it even cover the right area? It says they can use the litter tray so it made me wonder If it's not going to cover the right area.
I can't be with him to watch him 24/7 I have work.

I didn’t do this and it was fine.

I've had a lot of cats over the past 40 years and none of them has ever had a cone when they came back for neutering.

Personally I would remove the cone and let him be.

My old cat, George, was good with the girl cats and I had him neutered. He wasn't happy but got on with it. No cone or anything. Just a plate of his favourite sardines

My little guy did lick the site but he wasn’t coned and we weren’t told to prevent him licking. Toms heal within 48 hours. The surgical suits don’t cover their genitalia, they’re more for injuries/ wounds on their torso.

I'm not sure why he'd need one?

None of my cats (male or female) have had a cone or suit after surgery. I might be a bit cynical but it's always come across as a bit of a money making thing to me 😬

There's not even stitches for a male normally. I have never seen any issues, take the come off and see how he goes

I’ve never heard of a male cat needing a cone after neutering. The male cats I’ve had have been sent home after neutering with no special instructions apart from keeping an eye on them and reporting any concerns to the vet (there never have been any problems). I think cones and surgical suits are only going to stress out the poor little guy unnecessarily.
