Paid pet sitter recommend me someone/a company

I need an insured professional pet sitter for 3 nights in early January and I’m really struggling! Most sites seem to be uninsured people doing it for fun. I’d prefer a professional sitter and I’m happy to pay and make sure we get the best care for our 2 girls!

can anyone recommend where I should look please? We are in a beautiful little town on the edge of the yorkshire dales in West Yorkshire.

thanks!

I used cat in a flat for a cat sitter.

I've used Pawshake when I look for a paid sitter. Rover is also used by many sitters.

For people 'doing it for fun' I used Trusted House Sitters (which requires both of you to pay a membership fee, and sitters don't get paid). I haven't found any difference in the care my pets received from paid sitters rather than 'fun' ones.

Are you looking for someone to stay in your house or come in a couple of times a day? Have you tried just googling? I live in a small town in the Scottish borders and google brings up a few that cover us.

Thanks everyone. I’m in Ilkley West Yorkshire. There’s plenty of paid cat sitters on rover/cat in a flat but I’m worried about insurance - what if someone has an accident in my house? Am I liable?

This says she has insurance.

Just to reassure you that the "fun" house sitters are insured as part of your membership package on Trusted House sitters. Also, just on personal experience, the sitters on this site are much more committed to looking after your pet, as long as you choose carefully. Cat in a Flat is generally more transactional with sitters doing the least they can get away with for their fee.
