Anyone else find that Advantage has stopped working?
It's always done the trick for us but this time it just hasn't. Is this one going the same way as Frontline now?

Are we looking at prescription only treatments now?

Just had bravecto treatment for my 3 for 3 months £134.

I know this is an old threat, but has anyone's cat started to react to advantage flea treatment?
I hear they have changed the ingredients. The past few months my cat has started to pull his fur out around his tail and hips.
Have stopped using advantage now and will switch to itch. Not sure how good that is. My vets have stopped selling flea treatment but they always sold me advantage.
Thanks

@newandconfused5 please don’t swap to itch, they use fipronil products which is the same as frontline which has had major resistance issues for years. Are you sure your vets just aren’t stopping over the counter flea treatment? Please ring them, new rules mean we have to examine the animal at least once a year to dispense prescription only meds including flea and worm treatments. The signs you describe with pulling fur out in the hind end is more likely to be a flea allergy.

Thanks @selffellatingouroborosofhate , what is the expensive vet flea killer called?

Catofhate uses Bravecto.

Oh really, is itch no good?

Haven't noticed any fleas on the cat?.. or the house?
He has been regularly treated using advantage, which we got from the vets. Then when they stopped, I signed up for is using pets at home delivery service.
