6 months old, tabby boy, picking him up tomorrow. Making a shortlist and the kids will choose one. Currently on the list are:

Donut
Ziggy
Frisby

Please give me your eccentric and sweet cat names.

Spock would also be appropriate in this household....

Well, yes. This probably makes me a bad person.

Looks like an Arnold to me.

Loveatortie · 22/10/2024 23:08

I like Arnold 😹 Elliot would be good too 😽

WetBandits · 22/10/2024 23:10

Ziggy!

Ziggy Stardust as his government name for official cat business, but I’m sure he wouldn’t mind Ziggy for everyday use Wink

Anything that isn’t Socks, Tigger or Fudge would be fine, though. I can’t bear ‘cat’ names; cats are far too sophisticated to have such boring, unimaginative names Grin

ETA: I’ve had another look at him and he’d be Ernest or Cyril if he came home with me tomorrow.

I own a cat called Ian so maybe I'm not one to recommend...

But I think he looks like an Ozzy! Oswald if you're into giving cats "proper" names!

Furdey for short.

See also Furrikins, Mr Fur, Flufftum, Fluffaleeno and all the names you end up calling cats instead of their actual name.

Alltheyearround · 24/10/2024 16:23

Like Sparky, Wizard and Ziggy too.
