Cattery or cat sitter?

I have two cats who are 3.
They are boy and girl and are extremely bonded.
I've booked a holiday for 4 nights
Going on Thursday morning and coming back Monday morning.
I don't know what to do
Get them to a cattery or get a cat sitter to pop in once a day.
The girl is so so nervous and I think in a strange environment she won't eat.

I love them so much and I just want someone who will take care of them well.
They are indoor cats.

What do I do ?
What would you do ?

We use a cat sitter. Works great.

@MumChp how often do they visit ?

Twice a day if we are away for a longer period.
Once a day if only away for a few days.

I would go with a cat sitter. I do cat sitting and they mostly sleep anyway lol. They're happy and I stay for about half an hour to make a fuss of them.
There's a website I'm on called cat in a flat, you could have a look on there.

When we go away we use a cat sitter that comes in twice a day. We also have wee cameras set up so we can see they are eating and coming and going through the catflap

Definitely cat sitter!

We have used both in the past but now always try for cat sitting (the cattery we were using has closed now in any case due to the owner retiring). With hindsight I wouldn't have done cattery even though I'm sure it was well run with a cat loving owner (friend of a friend), but they were scared going there and one of them came back with some signs of over-grooming which may have been stress related. We used it in the first instance because when we were abroad it was reassuring that they couldn't get run over or similar as we couldn't get back in an emergency and we only used the cat sitter when we were in the UK and could. But now we always use either a paid cat sitter or friends teenagers.

We use a cat sitter too - I don’t like the idea of the cats being stuck in a small, strange kennel for that amount of time and I’m sure the owners wouldn’t spend much time with them anyway

our cat sitter comes twice a day. I asked at the vets and they said a few of the nurses do cat sitting. I feel better using a vet nurse as I know she will be able to deal with any issues, plus I know where she works so I feel better about giving her house keys!

Erie delays used a cattery. I don't trust my cat not to injure herself left unattended for a week or 2.

The other advantage of a cat sitter is that they can pick up the mail and water a few plants while they are there, mine is happy to do things like that as she stays till they've finished eating and plays with them for a bit.
