Tasty dry food for better teeth?

2 year old cat has always had wet food with occasional biscuits, vet has recommended some dry food in her diet to maintain dental health. Do you have any dry food recommendations your cat likes? I'm worried it will get ignored as used to wet which I assume is tastier?!

Our boy doesn’t really like wet food - he licks the “wet” off it and only eats a little of the meat, regardless of which brand/jelly/gravy. He has Royal Canin biscuits which he wolfs down, and as he drinks plenty I’m happy with that. Our vet is happy that the RC is a decent complete food, although we do give a small amount of wet every day too.

Our previous girl ate every scrap of wet food to the point the dish could have passed for fresh out of the cupboard, wasn’t fussed about dry (but loved treats) and would only drink from filthy puddles or water pooled on top of the wheelie bin. 🤦🏻‍♀️

There are also lots of dental hygiene products on the market for cats, which mine have an entire gamut of (tooth decay being a huge issue for domestic cats) of which their vet said the most important is a seaweed-based plaque-removing powder you sprinkle on their food. The big name one is plaque-off but there are a whole range out there.

Check ZooPlus for grain-free high meat content dry foods, there’s a wide range available 😸

Hi @qureshia110, if you look upthread a bit you did an almost identical post in September.
