Best worm treatment recommendations

Hi would anyone have any recommendations for worming treatment for cats (preferably not tablets)? I've looked on amazon and most of the spot on type treatments are only for tapeworm but the tablets also treat hook worm and round worms. I mean if I have to try and wrangle a tablet into her I will but would prefer an easier option tbh! Thanks

I think Panacur was the best I found, but it like other over the counter medications doesn't treat everything, every species. The Panacur I got was a liquid suspension which I syringed into the cats mouth (really difficult, had to force feed it) I ended up getting Milpro from the vet, which is a tiny tablet that you can easily crush up and disguise in food, then later NexGuard also from the vet, a spot on treatment.

Go to vets and get an effective treatment.
A friend had a rescued kitten who was supposedly wormed and she passed poos with live thrashing worms in her poos.
Vet treated her.
OTC drugs don’t seem to be as effective from what people say.

Just want to add I would avoid Johnson's, my cat had a bad reaction to it, made him worryingly drowsy for a day. Beautiful cat by the way

The slight problem is I can't get her to the vets without taking annual leave which is easier said than done. That's why I thought I'd try a home treatment in the first instance. However it may be that it's just be a waste of money.

Thanks for all your comments - and the compliment! 🥰

Most vets will happily prescribe wormers for a cat registered with them as long as they see it annually for it's jabs & a check up. You can even get a (paid for) prescription from them then buy the meds from and on-line pharmacy.

I get mine from the vets now, the tablets are so small that I can wrap them in a peice of ham and the cats don't know any different! I used to buy flea and worm treatments from Pets at Home, but they never worked, mine needed vet strength treatment so I've stuck to that now. After the vet has done a consultation, you can get them on prescription.
