Anyone else's cat sleep UNDER the duvet?!

My Cat Coco... she is a bit of a special type 🤣. I've never had a cat that actively wants to sleep under duvets. She looks for gaps where she can slide in, and then curls up in the crook of my legs (I side sleep!). She must be absolutely boiling under there... I thought she might stop in summer, but nope!
Anyone else's cat have this weird habit?! I did have one cat once who was even weirder. She actively sought out cold spots to sleep in. Including (but not limited to): marble fire surround, drafty windows, bag of frozen food, in front of fans...
Cats never cease to amaze me with their weirdness!

My little girl does, she coming up to 2, but always loves pushing her way in, then always makes biscuits on my belly. Had to get the cardigan out to put it in between us otherwise I have holes in my belly everywhere 😆

our dear departed oreo used to love a good snuggle under a duvet, a blanket anything as long as she was covered up.. she was my favourite little kitty and it broke my heart when she left this world!

my other kitty (oreo's sister) occasionally likes to come down the bed,but its normally just to wake us and annoy us into feeding her

Cat One loves being under the blanket but he expects me to lift it for him. Then he goes in, curls up and purrs madly from under it.
Our first cat used to love being under the doona. If we couldn’t find her we’d check to see if there was a lump in the bed. She preferred being there on her own though.

Not any of my cats, but my childhood dogs would do this.
I always knew when it was raining as they would stay under there for as long as they could, before dashing into the yard for the longest wee ever 😂

Our orange boy used to sleep between DH’s legs with his paws tucked under DH’s arse. He was wonderful, miss him so much 🥺

Our cat does similar, and loves hanging out under the duvet of a morning.

I know it's a cat board, but some of us mentioned that our dogs did this. Mine did it this morning......

Hello there, two days ago I got my kitten who’s 3 months old. She’s lovely and had been found in the street with her siblings and a very poorly mum when she was about a month old. The young couple who looked after all of them did a fabulous job and it’s become clear my kitty had co- slept with them. And to be honest I’m sure it’s the co-sleeping that’s made her the loving wee thing that she is. But there’s a problem - I’m a very poor sleeper and having her in the same room/bed with me all night is going to be very difficult. What can I do to get her to stay/sleep in her own room (my bathroom and dressing) all night so that if I’m going to manage to sleep for 4 or 5 hours at night I stand a good chance of getting it. And just to say my previous cat would come in with me some nights so I’m not against having a lovely bed follow in with me. It’s just that the older I’m getting the less sleep I’m managing.
