For those who use Catteries - does your CATTERY provide cat food as part of their rate? If you provide your own because of a dietary health issue do they charge you slightly less? Any experiences please?

Mine do provide food, but not the one my cats are on, as it's not common. So I bring my own dry food. They provide the wet. No discount.

Cattery provides cat food and no discount if bringing own.

Ours provides food but no discount if you give your own.

Which is why I never give my own!! She doesn't come home looking malnourished so I think it's ok

Yes ours provides food. I haven’t ever taken own food but wouldn’t expect a discount if I did.

No we provide food. One cat only eats chicken and fish but she gets a taurine supplement and milk with taurine. Our other cat gets food from a pet store, not available in supermarkets so we supply that. Unless the cattery provide food that your cat eats I would send in their own food.

Ours provides it and no discount if special food. Sadly my cats detest each other so they need their own pod which meant our recent 7 day stay in Greece cost £340 for the cats on their own.

The cattery is brilliant though and get the cats out daily for cuddles and games with ping pong balls and cat fishing equipment. Plus the pods are heated to 24 degrees all year round which means in winter they are more cosy than our house.
