A stray cat in our area has had kittens. They are absolutely adorable but I’m very worried for them!

we’ve called rspca, cats protection and other local shelters and all say they are full/won’t help because they are healthy.

An issue is that more stray unspayed cats is going to result in more kittens.

I can’t take one in as my cat would never forgive me.

we’re in Birmingham. Any advice? As a neighbourhood we’ve been giving food and water.

would anyone have any idea how old they are?

fur tax paid…..

Well they look about 10 weeks old to me, but it's hard to tell.

Would you be willing to try to find homes for them? You can't really have feral cats taking over your gardens.

Are you mama got socialise them? That will make life much easier for rehoming in future. Get the local cat place to neuter and release.

If they are social they may well find themselves someone to move in with!

None of the local cat places are willing to help unfortunately.
the mom is slowly starting to trust me. They’ve been out and about for 2 weeks

Have you tried the Stray Cat Rescue Team West Midlands? I wonder if they would trap and neuter, even if they couldn't take them for rehoming?

I honestly think the best thing to do is try your best to capture them and advertise for good homes. Everyone says don't get cats from a website, but I got my cats from someone like you. It's advisable to ask people to pay for the kittens to know they are really invested. People laughed when I told them what I paid for my poor little moggies who had fleas and diarrhoea! The family I got them from had taken on their abandoned mother who turned out to be pregnant even though she wasn't much more than a kitten herself. The family had different standards to myself, but they were doing their best and rile me they would use the money from the sale of the kittens to neuter the mother.

@helleborus they’re full too. Advise is just to feed and shelter until there is space

My shelter’s just closed its doors temporarily because we’re full too - & simply can’t afford to pay for neutering any more kittens at the moment Sad
