Hi all. Ipek has disappeared again. Have done the usual litter outside.. checked the usual. He's definitley not in the shed this time.

I went down the road to check a grassy area he plays in and found a big clump.of white fur. I'm assuming it's his as its not far from our front door and haven't seen any other white cats around here. It was a fair chunk So now I'm a bit worried.

I havent seen any other cats apart from one Black one and they avoid each other...

So so happy for you! I wouldn't be able to sleep if mine so much as had a sniffle so I can only imagine your distress.

That's made my day! Give her some treats, shower her in love, and show her how good she has it :)

Oh my days! We just all got suited and booted to look for him. We opened the door and he rocks up and waltzes in!

Think we have learn our lesson now. Don't panic until it's been a couple of days!

Yaaaay! I am so happy he’s home!

TabithaTimeTurner · 26/05/2024 10:32

Yay, that’s great news. Get that bloody tracker back on him pronto!

Little Sod

Oh the relief of him coming home , especially when they have that "what's Occuring" look about them, he won't care that you were out searching and worrying !

Is he showing any signs of injury ? Bald patches ?

Our very shy boy was missing earlier this year , it was freezing . He'd been on house arrest as he'd had a minor injury but recovered well .
I was out with a tub of Dreamies calling him. Nada.(Neighbours were thinking I was barmy)
Even more worrying he was injured and unable to move . (Though I was hoping he'd miaow )

He sauntered in after midnight , cold but totally unfazed and uncaring .

Logic tells you they;ll come back but when you;re going through it , your mind is whirring What if that cat at the side of the road is MY cat

Cuddle him. Praise him. Treat him. Threaten to lock the cat door to repay his chintzey behaviour

Thanks all. So it turns out he had snuck through the garage of one our elderly neighbours who isn't on the whatsapp group. I thought he was. And he had gone through to his back garden. Couldn't get back out as garage was closed. I went to knock and apologise as my next door neighbour said she saw him let him out.

He said he saw him in his window about 7pm and was still there at 11pm
He thought he was ours and would wander back. But he said now he knows if he sees him he will let us know. He's a lovely chap. Takes everyone's bins in on bin day.

He's feeling a bit skittish and sorry for himself. No patches and no injuries. Just feeling sorry for himself. Just remembered I have a tile tracker from life 360 for kids phone. It's small and light so have tied that to his collar. Its loader than tractive too! So bonus!
