Substitute for Techni-Cal?

I hope someone might be able to help as google is drawing me a blank!

My girls have been on Techni-Cal dry food since we brought them home from rescue 6m ago (they were there 6m so they've been on this food for a year) but it's now absolutely impossible to get hold of and I'm struggling to find a similarly priced/formulated replacement.

So far we've tried Purina One and Science Plan but one of them has refused both so far 🙈 so any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Is it a prescription food?. I've never heard of it. If people know what it is, they may be able to suggest similar alternatives.

No, it's just imported. It was what the shelter had them on so I just bought it again in bulk but the online store I bought it from said they're having trouble getting hold of it and it seems to be the same everywhere!

I've ordered something else that they've suggested (Nutram) so hopefully she'll eat that, she's having pouches atm as she absolutely refuses to eat the ones I've tried so far. Her sister isn't so picky!

If it's not a prescription / special diet food just keep shopping around online for one they like. It might take time if one's fussy. I had a quick look at composition and it just appears to be a fairly normal higher meat content grain free dry food with the usual additives like salmon oil etc.

I use Thrive Chicken (90% meat) and Purr & Meow Salmon & Herring (75%) from Amazon. Both grain free and not too expensive. But there are loads of similar ones these days. You can often get smaller packs or trials.

You could check food brand websites for free samples (or contact them directly to ask).
