Buying flea and worming products online

Having spent over £200 at the vet this month on 3 months supply of flea and worming products for my 4 cats, I have to find a cheaper way to keep them protected and comfortable.

They have Stronghold with Nexguard Combo evey third month.

Can anyone recommend a reputable online pet drug supplier?

I know some require prescriptions from my vet but not sure how this works or the cost.

Any guidance much appreciated.

Have you looked at the cost of a cat health plan at the vets to see whether that works out cheaper for you . Personally I always use prescription only stuff as the OTC / non prescription generally doesn’t work properly .

You can get a prescription from the vet and get your usual stuff much cheaper online. Ours charge £10 per prescription.. Once and once only we had a flea infestation.. Would have cost me over £300 from the vet. Cost me 110 online with vet fees included..

I use VioVet and get Advantage Flea treatment and Drontol wormer neither require a prescription although other more specialised products do.

Apparently the vets now have too see the cat more frequently. Can't remember how often. I have to take Cheddar for a five minute appointment to be able to get some more spot ons. Not particularly happy about that. She was seen in September.

Petdrugsonline are always good and delivery is really quick.

You'll need to pay for a prescription from the vets and then you can order from there.
