Fleas!

I have 2 indoors cats that we have never had flea problems with at all. We are living with my parents currently and they have a dog. Lo and behold we now have fleas!

I have treated them with privonox from the vet Sunday, although they had it 4 weeks prior also. I have since found a few dead fleas but combing them im still finding live ones.

I got some Indorex and am trying to think of the best way to go about treating the house. The cats are primarily upstairs and in our bedrooms due to the dog. I was going to do my daughters room whilst she is at school and k can shut the cats out but she has laminate floor. Of If I wipe the floors after surely it will defeat the point but I'm worried about the cats going back in there, even after 8 hrs of her being at school.

I have also read that if it gets in skirting boards it can be dangerous for the cats.

Any advice at all?

I think as long as they're kept out for the 8 hours then that's fine, that's what it says on the tin? Keep the windows open for fresh air.

Spray the indorex across the bottom of your skirting boards and over any soft furnishings. Open the windows wide for ventilation and keep all animals out for 2-3 hours.

You don't need to spray a lot so your laminate flooring won't need to be wiped. I've used Indorex many times throughout the years and have never had an issue with it being in the skirtings. All my cats have been fine with it.

Don't spray it near fish tanks or any aquatic pets.

One can should do a 3-4 bedroom house.
