We have a lovely four year old neutered female rescue, she goes out but keeps to a very small territory. A new cat appeared over the summer months and is super aggressive and dominant. It basically won’t leave her alone and makes the most god awful noise. It’s not a stray, looks young and healthy but I can’t get near enough to see if it’s an intact male. From a distance I cannot see obvious furry balls.
So far we’ve tried flailing arms and water spray to deter but it’s back day and night. We’ve even tried a sonic deterrent but to no avail. Now it’s taken to jumping on the windowsill and screeching through the glass. I’ve seen it sit down in the middle of the street and yowl like a wolf at the full moon!
My lovely cat is petrified since it got close enough to claw her collar off two months ago. She has not been outside since.
Any ideas? My vet will scan for a chip but I can’t get my hands on it. No collar.
