Wet v dry food

I know a fair bit about cat food but my boy cat of course thinks he knows best Grin
Being male I don't want him on all dry food and also he is sick if he has dry food first thing. If he has some wet food first then he isn't sick

Being the typical weirdo cat I always end up with he won't eat raw, any form of grain free, or even tuna as a treat Confused

I've found a wet food he will eat which naturally is complete crap and about 4% meat, but is it better for him than all dry food? I just need something wet so he eats without being sick in the morning...

I believe that any crappy wet has benefits over a solely dry food. The benefit of hydration outweighs the risks from the sugar, grain etc.

I feed an expensive dry (down all the time) and they get a daily sachet of Felix or similar. They seem to be absolutely fine.

It's not 4% meat, it's 4% named meat so they can call it chicken or beef, etc. It will contain more meat than that but can be from a mix of animal sources.

My 2 have a high meat grain free dry food and then whatever wet food I can get them to eat.

Why are they such weirdos
My last cat wouldn't eat dry ConfusedGrin

He will eat raw chicken and bits of mince but not a balanced raw diet. Tried a chicken wing and he just looked at me like I was mental

Even crappy wet food has taurine and vitamins in it, so it’s all okay. If he eats it and that’s your goal, all good.
