Indorex safe around toddlers?

We have fleas and need to treat the house. I've been told to use Indorex but am worried to use it around my toddler, especially where he plays and sleeps. Is it safe?

Also, when it's says treat the whole house do we need to treat our beds, kitchen work tops and bathroom etc... or do we just spray on the floor?

Sorry if these are silly questions, I just hate using chemicals like this but also need to get rid of these fleas.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
P.s. we have already treated the cat.

I tend to take my kids out - spray carpets - skirtings, sofa, cushions, stairs, maybe soft toys and then come back a couple of hours later and open the windows for a bit

DONT spray anywhere your kids sleep - just stick all the bedding through on a boil wash

You don't need to do kitchen surfaces

Vacuum loads over the next few days - like twice a day and empty the back regularly

What flea treatment did you give your cat? If it's the ones you can get in pet shops it's likely not strong enough if you have a major problem - I get strong hold from the vets instead and it nukes the fleas

Do one room at a time, or a couple and keep everyone out until it has aired. This applies to everyone because it is nasty stuff if you breathe it in. Keep pets out too.

Thanks for your replies. We have tried the cat with frontline. We've not been able to find a flea on her just lots of flea dirt.

Do you think we need to spray our mattress? I purposefully purchased a natural mattress which doesn't have any chemicals in it so I really hate the idea of having to spray it with insecticide! Will the fleas still be killed if we just spray the room?

@Herts501 how did you get on? We've got the same issue and I'm going to indorex tomorrow while the kids are in school/nursery

@TheStuffalo It worked at treat! I didn't think we had a terrible infestation so I only sprayed the rooms that I had actually seen fleas in/been bitten or where they could have easily spread (adjoining rooms) plus halls and landings. I didn't spray my little boys room (just around his door) or our mattresses as I wasn't over happy about using chemicals in the first place. If they'd have come back then I'd have done it again over the entire house but they haven't!
We did see one or two in the weeks after spraying but that was to be expected as the eggs/larvea still hatch but now we have none at all.
I did following the instructions about hoovering everyday as well, I don't know if that helped but I can say the treatment certainly worked so the hoovering is worth doing.
One other thing I would strongly advise is to wear a mask when you spray! I didn't and it gave me a horrible cough and tight chest for a few days!
Also to add; We sprayed, when out for a few hours then opened all the windows when we got home to air the house.
Good luck x
