Special diet for bladder stones

Has anyone had any experience of having to put their cat on a special diet? My cat suffered repeated urinary tract infections. She underwent a scan and X rays and it turned out that she had struvite bladder stones. A couple of weeks ago she had to have an operation to remove them, from which has recovered well.
We have been told that she must now have a diet that will prevent any further stones developing,or dissolve any that do occur. Only trouble is,she doesn't really like any of the food that I've offered her so far.
She has always been very fussy,so it's been really difficult trying to get her onto different foods. She is a tuna loving cat but none of the special diet foods contain tuna as it contributes to bladder stones.
She is constantly pestering me for food because she barely nibbles at the ones I give her. Anyone got experience of this? Did your cat eventually accept the food,or an I going to have the next few years being constantly pestered for food?!

I've also been told the same. Although my cat hasn't actually had stones. However, she's got a sensitive tummy I know she won't tolerate the special food. A minor change gave her colitis! So I'm sticking to her usual food that suits. And making sure she drinks plenty. Also giving cystease capsules.

Mine has struvite crystals and we alternate between chicken and tuna flavoured dry food for him (he won't touch the wet).

We use Purina.

My cat has urinary crystals which were diagnosed after repeated bouts of cystitis. The vet recommended Royal Canin but it’s so expensive so we’ve settled on Purina Pro Plan, which she seems to like (only a few days where she’s turned her nose up 🙄). We also use Cystease daily and so far, she hasn’t had any more flare ups.

Purina don’t do a tuna flavour unfortunately, just chicken and salmon. Have you tried mixing her favourite food in with the new and gradually introducing it?

My bad - it's ocean fish, not tuna.

We mix a small amount of a fishy lick-e-lix into the wet food. He doesn’t love any of them but will eat Royal Canin and the extortionately expensive tiny tins from Hill’s. There is a fish flavour dried food (Hill’s, I think) that he prefers to the chicken. He didn’t like the Purina at all!

@margotrose ahh sorry, I was talking about wet food.
