Neutering Tomorrow...

Any tips or anything I need to know? 5/6 month old male kitten. I feel so guilty already!

He liked it really he used it like a pillow a weapon against his brothers the only downside was I had to remove it for him to poo in his favourite litter tray which meant he had to wait until I noticed he was sitting there

Aw that's so cute. I'll see if I can get one today.

The vet said my cat had to wear a cone after neutering but he took it off. I put it back on, he used a lever to take it off. He was very good at escaping things like that.

Anyway, despite me finding the cone lying around the house every few minutes he seemed to do fine.

That's good to hear. Every time I take it off he is straight off for a lick so trying to keep it on as much as possible just now.

My cat have a cone and a shirt after spaying. She was beside her self with the cone. And the suit was too big, she completely lost the ability to walk in it. 🙄 and kept getting her foot stuck. I chipped the legs off it and she was slightly better with them off. But she was so miserable I just risked it without and she was fine.

I've had all my 6 cats neutered/spayed and never had a cone or body suit.It was a while ago though.
The last one to be done came home as high as a kite I think they give them ketamine ?
The vet said he probably would not even notice he had lost his baubles 😹...He didn't and was fine with 24 hours.He incisions are so tiny they heal up quickly.

Yeah mine was high as a kite yesterday - was going crazy running and jumping and doing all the things he wasn't meant to. Has slept all day today though.
