Calling all cats and their overworked slaves - join us as we grudgingly accept that every day is National Cat Day as far as our moggies are concerned.

@TheShellBeach Mr N used to play a game where he meowed to be let out at the back door (we had a catflap but he was quite arthritic by then) and then he’d run to the front door which has a huge pane of glass and meow to be let in. I used to call myself his “door slave” an actual job in Ancient Rome because I spent so much time doing this.

So after the debacle with regard to the non-appearance of my Curry's order, they had the cheek to send me a text asking me to rate my delivery out of ten.

I gave them 0.

Wankers.

Then they sent a text asking why I'd scored the delivery so low...........so I pointed out that they hadn't actually delivered anything.

What was that complaint reference number again?

Karl is on lap warming duty this evening (and he is very welcome)

This thread is an absolute joy! Even the stuff about litter trays (and after all, we are on The Litter Tray board), especially as I don't have to empty one these days. NMC enticement is on hold at the moment, but NMCs ones on here have given me many a chuckle this evening

The furry face mask has moved down Mrs Grumpy' body and has pushed Basil off her lap.

@Grumpyoldpersonwithcats when our old cat used to climb on your chest to take prime position above the lap cat, it was known as double-deckering. I miss him

Not as lighthearted as usual on this thread but miss Velvet has been super brave tonight. Proud of her and I wanted to share with the litter tray community which is awesome. Might go and have a little extra cuddle before bed.

@Defiantlynot41 sorry you’ve lost your little friend. He’s either sleeping or frolicking in cat heaven though.

😄😄 I know TC's Dad has posted photos of TC curled up in his lap so we know he can be a lap cat but I would not want to be the person moving TC so I could make a cup of tea or go to the loo!

@nettie434 he's just coming up to six months old, but the consensus is that he's going to be enormous! He's very big already. So sweet though.

@coastergirl how much does he weigh? He looks like a well-built, solid fellow already and I’m always on the lookout for somecat who can beat Mr N’s fit and slim shorthair weight of 7kg!

@CeciledeVolangesdeNouveau I'm not sure how much he weighs. Walter is 4.9kg and a chunky boy, and I don't think Benny is that far behind!
