Cat urinating everywhere

We rescued our cat around 6 months ok. She's around 18months old now. For context, we also have a 2 year old cat who has not been so welcoming to the new cat, however they exist ok ish together. Both indoor cats.

Around 2 weeks ago our newest cat has started weeing on beds, on piles of clothes, on bags for life. Only tiny amounts of wee come out. She still uses her litter tray often too.

We took her to the vets after a few days of her doing this as there had also been an incident of diarreah over night. He checked her over, temp etc, all fine and gave her an injection incase of water infection and gave pro-bind to use. We talked about how she is always hungry, she bolts her food and how her poo is quite soft, this has been the case since getting her. I asked about diabetes but he said she is too young and only offered to test her poo, which would cost us £160. We cannot afford this at the moment.

We are past ourselves now. We have 3 children, one is a toddler. I'm having to wash extra bedding everyday where the cat has urinated.

Can anybody give meany advice please?

Can you explain why you decided they would be house cats? Doesn't seem like they agree with that tbh.. At least the one who is peeing....

We live on a very busy estate, it wouldn't be safe to let them out. We got our first kitten at 8 weeks, she's not fussed to go out. We can leave the door open and she'd stay in. The newest rescue was found outside so she has been out but we've had her 6 months and she's only started this weeing thing a fortnight ago.

I agree. Can you let the cat outside at least on a leash or something a few times a day? Or make your garden cat friendly so at least it has the garden to go out in?

For a cat that's used to being outside, then suddenly being locked in a house for the rest of their life is really stressful for them.
