How much for cat sitters / feeders?

I'm away for a long weekend soon and both cat feeders (neighbours and family member) will be with us. We may have to pay someone to come in and feed them once a day. That's literally all they'd need. Does anyone know how much people charge for this?

Mine comes in twice a day and spends about half an hour each time. Will do other y jobs if you need - water plants, put it rubbish etc and closes front curtains on the evening/opens them in the morning. There are some variations but it's basically £20 a day.
She sends me little pictures of my car every time and is lovely.

Mine is 10.50 for one visit.

dementedpixie · 10/09/2023 19:04

I'm sure mine is £14/£15 for 2 visits per day
She opens blinds and puts the bin out if it's bin day too

Plump82 · 10/09/2023 19:06

Mine is £11 per visit. She comes twice a day. I could pay less for a shorter visit each time.

Mine is £11 a visit, stays around 45 mins, scoops the litter, sweeps up kicked litter/fluff balls, feeds, brushes and fusses, puts mail in the kitchen, waters any plants and brings the bin in if needed, she's awesome.

Mine is £14 per visit, he comes and feeds the cat once a day and deals with the cat litter and putting out bins etc

Thank you.

My two have a cat flap and are practically feral so it would literally just be putting food down. She'd do well to see them at all!

We got a wee camera that we positioned near the food bowls so we could track the cats were coming in and out as they weren't always there when the cat sitter came. Put ours and her minds at rest that they were still there even if she wasnt.

We had another camera in the living room but they didn't really go in there when we weren't there. Next time we'll just direct that one at the catflap instead

I do this and charge £8 for fifteen minutes.

Swissmrs · 11/09/2023 10:48

My cat-sitter charges £14 per half-hour.

CornedBeef451 · 11/09/2023 11:02

Mine is £10 a day, either for two very short visits or one longer one where she will water plants.

It is still time she will need to block out of her day.

Not something I would ever look to get a bargain...
