Toys for kitten who likes to bite

We’ve got a few little soft toys that make noises, wiggly things on sticks, rattle balls & this doughnut thing with the ball trapped inside that she chases.
Any suggestions gratefully received as my hands and feet can’t take anymore!
(due second jab in a fortnight so can’t let her out yet, the local mice will be in for it when she does get out!)

I find that wiggly things on sticks are the best as she can't get to your hands.

She looks a sweetie, biting aside.

Loads more toys! Work out if she's a jumper or more ground focused; kick toys are good for latter. Scrunched up foil, bits of paper etc - most cats will 'fetch'. Some cats love Ping pong balls. 'Boingy' wands with feathers and bells. Laser pointers are fun too!

Ps Brill feet!

Please don't let her out this young - even when she's had her jabs she will still be way too small.

Mine all love a laser pointer or bits of ribbon.

Please keep her indoors until she's a bit bigger and also neutered. She wouldn't be able to defend herself against a fully grown cat just yet.

Very cute.
Mine also loved dens- I had an assortment of boxes and tunnels and made a new combination every day to keep them amused.
A second kitten? Pairs amuse themselves much better than singles. Easier to introduce kittens to kittens too.
I wouldn't let her out yet either - kittens have very little sense and are extremely vulnerable to other cats and roads.
Mine didn't go out until they were at least 6 months old.

Sorry I should have worded that a bit better, I won’t let her out fully yet, she’s not due to be spayed until end of august so she’ll be in until then anyway but once she’s had second jabs I was going to let her in my garden (fairly small & secure)
thanks for the toy suggestions, I think she might be a jumper as she’s quite the gymnast but she’s also quite happy roaming around the floor if the toy is worth her attention!
scratching post has also been completely ignored in favour of my sofa.
They really do rule the roost!

These and all the attachments are brilliant - exhausted kitten with minimal effort:

Please don't let her out at all until she's spayed. Really. It only takes seconds for her to leap over a wall or a tom to leap in - and she can get pregnant from three months.

Yarnorama · 17/07/2023 19:43

As others have said, absolutely do not let her out at all until she is spayed. This would be extremely negligent and not in her best interests at all. They can escape quickly. Toms can get in even quicker. Don't take risks.

For chew toys Kong and Petstages do some nice dental toys (available on Amazon).
