Wet or dry?

I have two Persian cats both of them are less than two years old. I have always given them dry and wet food, however they have been vomiting a lot over recent months so I took away the wet food and now they just have a limited supply of dry food and a water fountain. They haven't seem to miss the wet food but I guess I wouldn't really know? Is it okay to just leave them on a dry diet, and if so is there a good brand that I can buy to make sure they're getting everything they need? Or is it imperative that I re-introduce the wet food? They are indoor cats if this makes a difference.

Boys or girls?

Do they actually drink the water?

What was the wet food?
Do they both drink the water?

Wet is usually better than dry for most cats.

Are they vomiting hair balls? If they’re long haired cats they might need to be brushed daily to prevent this.

However, I am not a vet. And I think frequent vomiting is the sort of thing that should be checked out by a vet.

Dry only is a bad idea. Most cats don’t drink much (unless they have a health condition) and the dry food dehydrates them further. So they are kept in a constant state of dehydration which can eventually affect their urinary tract and kidneys, if they are prone to that.
