Cat Poo...

This is Elsa. She is a terror. Don't let the looks fool you...
Elsa is around 3 & a half years old & poo's everywhere but the litter tray. On an almost daily basis.
I'm losing the will with it.
We have 2 cats (Elsa & her sister).
We've tried numerous cat litter trays, different types of litter, litter trays in different places, upto 5 trays at one point.
She has seen the Vet & is medically fine.
I have gone upstairs this morning to a big poo on my bedroom carpet & I've had enough. They're usually downstairs on a wooden or tiled floor.

Does anyone have any advice or ideas?!
I'm currently thinking of getting a dog kennel & housing her outside as I just can't cope with the pooing for potentially another 15 plus years.
Help.

Cat Poo...

This can be a sign of stress, I’d recommend trying Feliway, it uses pheromones to help cats feel calmer. I use the dog version.

sounds like you’ve done it already but multiple litter trays spread around the house so the cats have their own spaces, not near their food or water. Scoop regularly as some cats won’t go if there is already poop in the tray.

have you tried the closed litter tray? Some cats feel more secure to be closed in as they feel vulnerable when they toilet

Also clean with an enzymatic cleaner so it gets rid of the scent (that we can’t smell)

Sorry I missed that we've tried cat calmers, both plug in & spot ons.
We've also tried covered & uncovered litter trays.
The trays can be fresh & she'll still do it. 🤦‍♀️

Do her and her sister get along? Signs of tension can be subtle like blocking doorways and staring

Yes they get on generally. The odd spat, but generally fine.
They came from the rescue together as kittens from the same litter.

@ERN79 did you solve this? We’re in the same situation…have also tried the usual suggestions.
