Cat drooling and vomiting

My cat is 1 years old, and was sick overnight (woke up to last night's dinner on the carpet).

He is now drooling and quiet, not his usual self. He ate a bit of dry food this morning but usually he bullies me for his breakfast. Today he wasn't bothered.

Do you think this is a usual upset tummy /possible dodgy food or something more sinister? Would you take a cat to the vet for this or what signs would make you go to vet?

The drooling is suspicious. Have you had a close look for injuries? Is he an outside cat?

Drooling is a suspicious symptom, it's not normal. Call the vet, if anything better to get seen by a vet now than pay them weekend fees if it develops.

Vet now! He could have been poisoned

My car drools when he has a hair ball he’s trying to bring up but I would still take him to the vet if he’s off colour

Please take him to the vet now, sounds like he’s eaten something dodgy.

Don’t even make an appointment, get him in his carrier and get him down there.

Drooling is a worrying symptom. He could have a blockage. Call vet asap.
