Hi all. So we have collected our boys today. I have had cats all my life but have always adopted oldies, because i'm a soft touch, these 2 though are 8 weeks old!!
I'd be grateful for any hints, tips and advice from any wise cat owners on here as to making the most of our new additions.

awwwwwww 💕 💕 💕

They shed everywhere around 5-7 months old. Actually, my worst shedder is still shedding everywhere a year later.

So already made preliminary appointment for neutering, microchipping, vaccinations etc etc. Not intending to let them out at all if i can help it.
Toys will be duly rotated. Will grab a cardboard box from work.
Their food is already the same as what they were on at their birth home, they've already used their litter trays.

What about bedtime? I'm happy to have them in my bedroom with us, do i take a litter tray up also?

Again thank you all for the info and love!! 😀

We've always tended to keep them in one room (our living room) for a few days to let them acclimatise to us, then slowly let them explore the rest of the house.

Try animal friends and Sainsbury's

You're looking for whole life insurance- not one that cuts out / excludes when they're 10

And if you can, includes dental

<not bitter about the £2k dental vets bill not covered on insurance, at all>

@EmmaEmerald - yes cupboards!! Still do.... they see a cupboard open they are in like a shot.
Drawer under the bed open....they are in and under the bed running around!!

Yes to insurance....especially while they are young and stupid.

We left ours in the kitchen at nights for about 3 or 4 months......then gradually they got more and more run of the house. Now I have one on the bottom of the bed......so when they did come up we left the litter trays downstairs.

😍 Gorgeous kittens and fab names. Look at petplan too......can work out a bit dearer but they're a good company.
