Royal Canin - Price Increases?

Hi everyone,
Just hopped on to order my normal monthly food order and there was this warning on the site! Has anyone spotted it elsewhere? It's already got pricy from £10 a box to £14 in the last year, but literally cannot get my little monsters to eat anything else!

My friend was complaining about this the other day. Her cat is on royal canon renal.

Royal Canin has always been extortionate - have you looked at other suppliers?

One of my cats needs a special urinary diet and I have to switch shops every time I buy to get to the cheapest deal.

Thankfully their royal highnesses don't have special dietary needs, but they came weaned onto royal canin and will eat nothing else (I have tried EVERY brand on zooplus and in pets at home, am on first name basis with the local shelter thanks to all the donations 😅)
I have but Zooplus remained the most reasonable, so am assuming the rest will be similar or worse >.<

Yep! Cursing myself I didn't stock up more in the black Friday sale! But even with the monthly 10% off, its still £3-4 more expensive than it used to be.

Im hoping they realise it's not sustainable and drop down again, but that's unlikely isn't it?

This must be why the price is hugely variable at the moment. At my vet, a single tin cost me £2 the other day, then £3.50 a few days later. My dog has just swapped to it after a bad bout of pancreatitis and I don't think it will be sustainable long term. The vet has asked me to use it for a while, and then figure out some compromise.

We found the same earlier this week. We've always fed the 3 pests RC, I'm not sure what a good alternative is.
