Does this sound like a good match for an older lady?

My Nan is 78 and looking for a cat (last girl died a few years ago and she really misses her).

She also has a mice problem at the moment and remembers her cat helping with that!

Does this sound like a good choice for an older lady? Or is she more suited to a young family?

If so I might have her for myself Grin

Any advice would be really welcome Smile

Cats can live to around 20 years so I think that's quite a commitment at 78. I'd be looking for a middle aged cat (8-10yo is a great age).

@Yarnosaura she's for my uncle as well, who lives at home still

So I suppose she would be more of a family cat and not just for one person anyway

Get her for your nan, and if she's too much, step in.

If you are happy ti be plan B then go for it.

DKitten is like that and she has one habit that might be worth mentioning. She zooms up the stairs and stops at the top grabbing my leg as I go past.
It's cute but I have to watch out for her.

Other than that, she's a chirpy chirrupy bundle of giggles.

It would come down to individual preference. Ask her whether she wants a feisty one or a calmer one. I would suspect this little lady would do better in a young family.
