One cat taking over?

I have 2 kittens, one who is 9 months old and one 3 months. New boy kitten is a sweetheart and has settled in really well. Girl kitten seems to love him, they sleep and play together and they are always seeking each other out.

Girl kitten was very playful and affectionate before getting the younger one. Now she spends very little time with us. I’m guessing this is normal as other cats are way more interesting, but what worries me is she has turned really passive. If she is playing with something, boy kitten always joins in and she just walks away and leaves him to it and looks sad!

I do try and give them some separate playtime every day, I suppose I’m just wondering if this is normal multi cat dynamics?

Cat tax attached.

Adorable. I had this with siblings. One very. Dominant. I used to give Magic, the quiet one extra fuss. It was ok. Magi is now completely queen be since her sister died. I got another cat who's very passive and soft. They rub along happily together, ganging up on me. Grin I do think if The other cat has survived poor old Cheddar would have been bullied by her.

Thank you @Toddlerteaplease, that’s useful. She seems happy enough at least, I just didn’t want her to feel pushed out.

They are currently galloping around the house like lunatics so certainly not miserable!
