Just as title says really.

She's been with me over a week, came to me at eight weeks. Her poos were loose to begin with but have now firmed up, I put that and the sick down to nerves and change of food and kept an eye on her.

She's been playful, eating, drinking, weeing, pooing, does the usual kitten thing of playing and napping and is very lovely. Not overly concerned but equally I don't think she should be being sick once or twice a day as an ongoing thing?

Has anyone else had this? I will call the vet on Monday morning to get her booked in for a check up and her jabs, but I don't know if there's anything I should be considering or thinking of in the meantime?

She's been flead and wormed, was vet checked while with her mum, is an indoor cat, has pet insurance etc.

Probably the food. My cat was like this until I found something that suited her.

Is she eating too much at once or eating too fast?

Is it actual vomit or just regurgitation?

Thanks for replies, I didn't get notifications so apologies for delay in replying.

It's pretty much regurgitated food. Since I posted this I've been feeding her a tiny amount at a time as she does eat too much too fast I think. So far, so good. Fingers crossed this settles it. I'll update tomorrow. 🙂

Try's raised bowl. It really helped my serial vomiter!

Regurgitation is normal when they eat too quickly - one of my old cats did it constantly! He'd then eat the regurgitated food and carry on with his day 🙄

As well as smaller portions, you can try slow feeder bowls or lick mats or interactive feeders to help slow her down as well.
