Hi, does anyone have a cat they let out by day but keep in overnight without a litter tray?.
I have a 6 month old kitten who I have started letting out by day (very slowly, she explores for 5 or 10 mins then runs back in through the cat flap) and we are keen to get rid of the litter tray in a few weeks when she is confident going outside. However ideally I'd like to keep her in at night - can I do this without a litter tray?
My last beautiful cat we let out whenever (left catflap unlocked) and got rid of the litter tray but he sadly got runover in August (a very busy road is at the back of our garden).
I won't have her as an indoor cat as she is always looking out the window and crying to go out, plus I hate the litter tray (small house, only place to put it is in my dining room, literally no other options for where it could go!).
Can they hold their wee overnight? (I know when old they can't but she is only 6 months). Help please, thanks.
