Am moving house and my cats (2) need a litter tray for the first time in 8 yrs. Just looked on Amazon and there are so many options. They are big (6kg) if that makes a difference. Any help v welcome!

Catit hooded litter trays are very good.

I hated the Catit one, the clips were faffy and if my old boy weed or pooed up the sides it was a pain to clean.

I like these type, top or front entry, you can leave the lid and/or flap off if they don't like it, and the very deep sides help with rabid diggers, plus they're easy to clean!

Mine have top loaders so the feet get wiped.

If they're big cats then the bigger the better for litter to trays. We use those under bed storage boxes you can get in places like b&m, Argos, Tesco etc. Fill it with plenty litter and it let's then have a good scrabble around!

We got a massive stainless steel one from amazon. It would be a good size for a 6kg cat. I can't stand plastic trays - the smell of urine will inevitably impregnate the plastic over time and I just don't think you can get them properly clean.
