Pandering to fussy eaters?

So greedy cat still eats anything and everything put in front of him, fussy cat is causing issues... at what point do you give up on a type of food and start feeding a different?

We got fussycat a microchip feeder dish so she can graze without greedycat stealing her fod, she seems comfortable using it, goes back to it, knows how to open it etc etc. But starting to get the problem of she eats a little bit when i feed them, then wanders off, and doesnt go back to it...!

Now im worried that shes not eating enough... shes not underweight for her age, but she is only just within the right weight.

She used to love the wet food (whiskas kitten in gravy, meaty ones not the fish, she doesnt like fish) so we bought it in bulk, but now all she does is lick the gravy then leave the rest.

Dry food goes a bit better, she does eventually eat most of it but not all the time either.

She drinks water regularly, and has regular activity in the litter tray, and has bags of energy.

So at what point should i just accept shes eating enough for what she needs, and at what point do i intervene??

(Can you tell im a crazy first time cat mum...?)

I would definitely change the food. If you have the budget for it, try grain free wet food like Canagan or Untamed. Pricey yes but good for cats. And apparently tasty cos mine always leaves an empty plate.

Hmm now im wondering if shes not as comfortable with the microchip feeder as i think...

I took the dish out of it and brought it over to her (while physically restraining her brother...!) And she wolfed down the wet stuff from about 2 hours ago as well as the dry stuff i put down about half an hour ago.

Might need to go a bit slower on the process of introducing the new feeder...
