Old cat waking through night

I’m so tired, please forgive typos etc. My cat is 20. Nothing wrong with her that I can see. Eats, drinks, goes outside for a bit, sleeps. We’ve just moved house, so it’s worse at the moment, but this has been going on for at least 18 months: she wakes up in the night and miaows until I get up and feed her, then miaows some more, keeps us awake for hours. It’s exhausting. She miaows a lot during the day too, I’ve heard old cats often do this. But the night times, omg it’s like having a baby. As a younger cat she would never do this, has always slept on my bed, never any problem. Does anyone have any advice? I’m on my knees, and I’m about to start a new job. I love her but I swear I could throttle her, and I don’t want to feel that way!

She’s nearing the end of her life , she may feel scared when she wakes in night or hungry - try leaving food for her to have , in a timer bowl if you want .
she may have dementia - my old cat was 19 and became very demanding , they just don’t think the same anymore .
kidney or thyroid are possible problems at that age .

Get her checked at vets

She’s had full blood work in the last year, at vast expense. Nothing wrong with her at all.

I might try a timer bowl, but I don’t know whether she’d know it was there. She always has biscuits available. I feel terrible if she’s scared in the night, but I’m always there!!

We’ve had two elderly cats that both did this - we called out to them to reassure them that we were in the house (even though the bedroom doors were open). It was almost as if they had forgotten where we were sometimes .

This is seen with hyperthyroidism, cognitive dysfunction and bizarrely arthritis.
I would get her checked by a vet.
