Calculus in cats

My five year old cat has some calculus on her teeth. The vet mumbled something about cat biscuits that remove this and looking on Amazon there seem to be a few types. Pets at Home sell one that costs £27!!
Any recommends for one that works and is a reasonable price? Natural ingredients.

Sorry, I only came into the thread to see if you had a mathematically brilliant cat 😅

We used to get dentabits for our cat, pointless, he swallowed them whole

We feed Royal Canin Oral Care (but it’s not cheap either) and also put a dab of cat toothpaste onto a paw everyday.

Cat toothpaste? Is that a thing?

It is indeed - enzymatic toothpaste. No way would I ever be able to brush my cat’s teeth but a good dod on a paw that can be licked off does the job.

Nothing will remove the existing tartar apart from dental treatment.
Toothpaste, the biscuits etc all prevent further build up and are best used after dental treatment.

Ask about a dental might be cheaper than biscuits
