What have I forgotten for new cat?

My first cat arrives in two weeks. He’s a two year old boy, he’s been in foster care after being picked up as a stray.

I have bought:
food - same one he eats with the foster person
food and water bowls
toys
litter tray
cat tree
bed
litter
flea/tick collar

Is there anything else I need to source in the next two weeks? He has been sniped and chipped.

If you are worried about upstairs windows - flat cat do window coverings that allow you to still fully open a window, but the cat can’t jump out. There are also other versions available on Amazon as well as flat cat.

May I recommend a cable tidy for your charger wires? Something that covers them up and keeps them away from prying teeth? Just adopted a pair, one of whom is an 8 month old who can't tell the difference between a string on a toy and "fizzy string". The fat mains wires she leaves alone, but her teeth itch at the sight of a thin charging cable. Had to charge the phone on the kitchen counter rather than overnight by the bed. And don't get me started on her nicking the mouse for the laptop

Cat arrived today. He’s had food, water, playtime, and is now zonko on a blanket next to me.

Have rehomed a cat today but he is hiding behind the washing machine with just his bum poking out. 😕 I will leave him alone and put his food/litter tray in with him but really want to have cuddles!
