Cat drooling - contact vet?

Dcat has started drooling yesterday. She seems absolutely fine in every other way, she's eating and drinking fine. And played lots yesterday with her usual energy.
Does this usually indicate problems with teeth?
She had to have one tooth removed just before we rescued her so am I right in thinking I should contact the vet today?

Apparently they can drool for no reason but also can be caused by illness. Can you can call your vet? I’d probably take mine in just in case. I wish her fast recovery if there’s something found x

When us it happening? Mine do it when I'm scratching behind their ears and they're v v happy and purry. No other time just when they're getting lots of attention. Vet said that's pretty common and fine.

Yes. If it’s out of the ordinary for your cat, I would get it checked out. Last time one of mine did it she was in shock from fireworks night. Before that my old cat had dental issues.

Thanks all.
It's happening all the time. She has a droplet on her chin a lot and she is waking up wet from where her head has been resting.
I've had a cat before that drooled when she would sit on me and do that kneading thing they do. But not seen this before.
I'll call the vet when they open and get her seen.

We had a cat that would do it after having his flea treatment.

Couldn't get an appointment for today so have one for Monday.
Will keep a close eye on her over the weekend and contact emergency vet if necessary but she's appears fine in herself at the moment.
