Bulkbuying wet cat food

Morning!
I recently taken on my daughters cat. He has settled amazingly well and is like a different cat so it's all going great...apart from the fact I have a huge cat with a massive appetite already and the pair of them are costing me a fortune!
I bulk bought some tins of cat food and they both absolutely hate it! I have tried 12 of the tins mixed with pouches to try and tempt them and it still gets left so I'm gonna donate it somewhere!
Is there any way to relatively cheaply bulk buy wet cat food? Obviously I have googled but I can't see any obvious savings anywhere just giant packs.
The alternative is to move them completely onto dry food which I did try for a couple of days but I caved in because they looked so sad waiting at meal times for me to put some wet down 😳🙄
Thank you!

I did buy some on zooplus ! Until he went off it of course the day after the bulk order arrived ! But for a good few months he was happy

You need to keep them on the same food they were on before - it's not clear if you're doing that or if you just bulk bought a random brand?

Cats are really fussy - mine will only eat one brand of wet, and it has to be meat flavoured (or one gets the shits) and it has to be in jelly or else another will literally spit it out Grin

You can sometimes get discounts buying straight from the manufacturer or for signing up to loyalty schemes at places like PetsAtHome. ZooPlus discount but I find the type they sell on there isn't always identical to what's in the shops for some reason.

Alternatively look at discounters like B&M or just stock up when it's on offer.

@gindreams ha ha isn't. That typical! Mine are happy on any pouches but not tins for some reason!

@fairylightsandwaxmelts thank you 😊

They're happy on any pouch of wet but tins they are super fussy. Dried not at all fussy but do enjoy it.

Will have a look at zooplus, as that's one I've not come across!

I get mine from Amazon on subscription. It's so helpful.

Our vet told us that wet food is not great for cats so we limit it with dry food too

Not a long term solution but 'republic of cats' are currently doing a 2 week taster pack for £1.50, I just got 70 cans of cat food for £1.50, it's q subscription but you can cancel it any time, I cancelled mine as soon as it was dispatched.

I shall find the link and post it xx

Oh the trial price has gone up to £3, but it's still 70 cans for £3, think it depends on the cats weight, I put 8kg and asked for all wet food and that's the amount the sent.
